Powers Combined: Asian Alliance

[dropcap size=small]O[/dropcap]ver the past few years, we’ve seen a surge in the electronic music scene throughout Asia.  From massive EDM festivals to the Red Bull Music Academy in Tokyo last year, Asia has become a top destination for artists/events of all genres and styles.  Clubs scattered around Asia have found high rankings on DJ Mag’s list of the world’s top 100 clubs.  On the 2014 list, Asia is home to two of the top ten clubs — Zouk Singapore and Seoul’s Club Octagon.  In order to strengthen their influence in the world market, four of Asia’s top clubs are joining forces on a new collaborative project titled ‘Asian Alliance’.

Comprising of Dragonfly (Jakarta, Indonesia), Zouk (Singapore, Singapore), Zouk (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), and Club Octagon (Seoul, South Korea), the group will host monthly events at one of the four clubs, featuring resident DJs of the member clubs and a special performance.  Not only will these events deliver back to back to back sets of quality music, but they will also introduce fans to the sounds and styles of the other Asian countries.

The first Asian Alliance project night in Seoul will be this Saturday (March 28th) at Club Octagon.  Featuring DJs Matthew from Zouk SG, Ken Master from Zouk KL, Devarra from Dragonfly, and Octagon’s own Haus-K, it will be a night that you won’t want to miss.  As usual, Octagon’s doors open at 10 PM and the party doesn’t stop until the wee hours of the morning.  Join us this weekend to experience what Asia’s mega clubs have to offer.

In the coming months, ElectRow will be delivering even more Asian Alliance content to show support for the Asian scene, so keep an eye out!
