Although the warm months have come and gone, that doesn’t mean the music festivals went with them. This weekend, Playhouse Festival takes the party indoors with an incredible lineup of hip-hop and EDM artists. The electronic music side of the festival will include Smith Agent Smith, Luney Tunez, Borgore, Tritonal, Vicetone, Dzeko & Torres, and Thomas Newson. This is a pretty decent lineup considering that Vicetone is #36 on the 2014 DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list and Borgore is at #41. Playhouse Festival will take place over two nights (Friday, December 19th and Saturday, December 20th) at the KINTEX in Ilsan, just north of Seoul. Tickets are available at discounted prices (89,100 KRW for standing and 118,800 KRW for VIP) until Friday. The VIP ticket prices includes 2 free drinks, so it might be wise to go ahead and upgrade yourself if you plan on consuming. You can purchase the tickets online through Interpark, Auction, or Yes24.com. If you absolutely must wait, tickets will also be available at the event for a slightly higher fee. If you are concerned about transportation, there will be free shuttle bus services running from the festival to Hapjeong Station and Gangnam Station near the end of the event.
