INK BOMB TATTOO CONVENTION 2014
THE BASICS:
The Ink Bomb Tattoo Convention is taking place this weekend on Saturday and Sunday (June 28th & 29th). Located at the WAV Bistro & Lounge, right on the Han River, this two day event will feature tattoo artists from all over the world including the USA, Spain, Japan, and, of course, Korea! The artists will be available for sessions, but you must contact the artists ahead of time to reserve a spot. For a full list of the artists, you can click HERE. Along with the artist names, you can also check out the links to their websites and various social media networks. Instagram is a great way to quickly see previous work the artists have done. The event starts at noon daily and will wrap up after 10:00 PM. There are tickets on sale at the Ink Bomb website HERE. The cost is 25,000 KRW for a presale single day pass and 45,000 KRW for a presale two day pass.
MUSIC FESTIVALS:
The Ink Bomb Tattoo Convention not only caters to those interested in tattoos. If you are a fan of rock music, hip hop, or electronic music, you’ll love the music lineups for the weekend. Saturday is the Rock Festival with artists like Whitelies, Bad Trip, Streetguns, Whatever that means, The Spanish Barrow’in Guitar, Galaxy Express, and Guitar Wolf. Sunday is the HipHop Festival featuring artists such as Vasco, Deepflow, CJAMM, and Ignito. On both days you’ll be able to catch some awesome DJs like Conan, Smood, Vombed You, Sin, Ryuji, Son, Jun, Bbobby James, and VJ Hazard.
OTHER PERFORMANCES:
If that isn’t enough to convince you to stop by the convention, there will also be body painting, live painting, piercing and aerial silk & hoop performances for you to watch over the course of Saturday and Sunday.
