We were excited to receive this track, not only because of the music, but the message behind it as well. Check out the press release to understand what makes this track so special:
On Sunday 9th November, to mark the centenary of the start of the First World War, London band ooberfuse, with Help for Heroes and Strictly Come Dancing’s Chelsee Healey, release a moving musical tribute to the country’s war heroes with new single ‘Fall’.
Having reached the airwaves of BBC 6Music, Ministry of Sound, BFBS & Gaydio this year with their brand of infectious electronica, Cherrie Anderson and Hal St John, joined by producer Roland Faber, (aka ooberfuse) chose to explore the emotional impact of war, not just on the soldiers fighting on the front-line but on those left behind struggling to come to terms with the long‐lasting absence of loved ones.
Although upbeat in its pace, when you carefully listen to the lyrical content of ‘Fall’ you can really hear why the track provides an alternative soundtrack to the centenary commemorations.
